In Adventure

Living as a stranger in a foreign land and raising a child led me to confront my underlying anxiety. I revisited a pivotal childhood memory of being lost at age four, and the recurring dreams that followed—where searching for home was paradoxically experienced as a cheerful adventure.

Through my art, I seek to share this innocent perspective with my daughter. By returning to a child's mindset, I soothe those complex emotions—at times fearful, at times bursting with excitement—and transform them into a shared journey of discovery.
